For more than 25 years, I've worked across instructional design and performance consulting.
My work spans transportation, energy, financial services, aviation, occupational health and safety, and public sector organizations where consistency, communication, and operational effectiveness matter.
I help organizations identify what may be influencing perfomance gaps and design practical solutions that support day-to-day operations.
Approach
Before providing a solution, I look at:
- how work is being done
- where breakdowns occur
- what gets reinforced (or ignored)
- what makes the right action difficult to sustain
Training may be part of the solution.
It's rarely the whole solution.
In Practice
I don't start with content.
I start with the workplace conditions surrounding the work.
This may include:
- identifying operational barriers
- clarifying expectations
- designing practical learning solutions
- improving reinforcement and support
- aligning learning with day-to-day operations
The goal isn't completion rates.
It's practical, sustainable improvement.
Working Together
I lead engagements directly and bring in trusted specialists when additional expertise is needed.
Depending on the project, this may include:
